Want to Know What Is Going On In Syria, Follow the Money?

This Rather Strange Alliance

When a draft-dodging con man such as Bill Clinton begins to sound like General George Patton, most intelligent people realize that the fix is in.

Clinton recently remonstrated with Obama over the latter’s inaction in Syria. Like a true politician, Barack obliged and ordered small arms to be delivered to the rebels three days after the draft dodger had read him the riot act. Clinton is a sleazeball who has never done a thing except beat his own drum. His close friends are sleazy, his Hollywood buddies are shabby, and even his daughter’s father-in-law has done hard time for big-time fraud.   Clinton lowered the bar as president and was extremely lucky to be followed in the White House by a man who although well-meaning will go down in history for having committed one of the greatest foreign-policy mistakes of any American president. Nevertheless, the prisoner of the neocons has had the decency to stay out of the fray and inside his Texas farm. Not our Bill. He wants to live in the White House again and is busy preparing his wife’s triumphal entry to it in three years. Hence his aggressive remarks about Syria.

But here’s the scoop: Look for the money. The Saudis and Qataris have a hell of a lot of it. Bill Clinton, a man who never let a scruple get in his way, is their perfect secret agent. Quietly and discreetly, they’ve decided he is the perfect man for them in DC. Nothing as obvious as hundreds of millions exchanging hands—there are laws against that—even where the Clintons are concerned, but becoming close friends of the draft dodger can be very beneficial in myriad ways: his charities, his connections with multinationals, and the multiple nefarious ways money can be channeled to the candidate running in the 2016 election.

The Saudi-Qatari plan is a simple one. Drive a Sunni corridor through the Middle East all the way to Iran, splitting Syria and empowering the Sunni minority in neighboring Iraq to revolt against the Shiite ruling majority.

The Salafist hardcore clergy that rules the street in Saudi Arabia and Qatar plays ball with the ruling families in the two countries as long as their long-term plan for Sharia law to rule the Middle East is on track. Secular leaders such as Assad, and Saddam before him, have been the stumbling blocks for this grand strategy. Once Assad is gone, and the Sunni revolt in Iraq manages to split that country also, they only need to deal with Iran. That is where Israel enters. Iran could take over the Gulf States and Saudi Arabia in a week, but Israel will never allow it. So we now have this rather strange alliance between the Sunnis, the Americans, and the know-nothing Europeans, with Israel as the tough guy protecting the oil-rich Arabs against the baddies, the Shiites.

The last time Iran attacked a foreign country was over 200 years ago. Yet the well-greased American and European media have decided that Iran and the Shiites are the new Visigoths and Western Civilization is about to be obliterated by a country that as far as technology is concerned has produced an Edsel at best. Sunnis in Iraq have been crossing into Syria to fight against Assad.

The Syrian revolution has nothing to do with civil rights, and the 90,000 dead—although I think the number is half that—are the result of a civil war rather than genocide. Far more importantly, the rebels do not have the support or trust of a clear majority of the Syrian people. Ethnic cleansing has taken place under rebel-led militias, and as Vladimir Putin—an expert where Salafist terror is concerned—said, it is far more likely that the rebels have used chemical weapons, not the Assad government which still enjoys the support of many Sunnis who know that under Sharia law their lives and businesses will suffer greatly.

It seems that Uncle Sam will never learn. Nearly 3,000 surface-to-air missiles have disappeared in Libya—two guesses where they are located as I write—and 22,000 shoulder-launched missiles, ditto. But Clinton tells Obama to send more arms. Even if those arms are given to militias friendly to the West, there is still a high chance the weapons will cross between different groups. It is utter folly, but who will remember a Taki’s Mag article warning the West that we’re helping the very baddies that will one day come after us? Christians, Druze, Kurds, and Alawites are all goners once the brilliant Western brains overthrow Assad. It is a sad day when Vladimir Putin shows wisdom and restraint while the clowns of the EU and Washington are offering the rope from which any friend of the West will one day dangle. Saudi and Qatari money has paid for the public-relations campaign against Assad that began five to six years ago. Alas, it is finally bearing fruit.

  1. I think after perusing much about the situation that Israel is slated to attack Syria since the usual efforts of central banking have thus far failed. This will give Israel a media oriented “right” to “defend its territory”by murdering civilians which is the current definition of war,at least according to the edicts of an unconstitutional government who can easily steal more wealth through war than through peace. All you have to do to believe my ridiculous assertions is open your eyes.

  2. ( G W Bush)……by a man who although well-meaning
OH! Please give us a break. TYhe drunk acted worse than a 10 yearold. This animal wasn’t even fit to be 8 years in the Whitehouse, let alone in a barn. Has the author forgotten about the systematic lies about Sept 11 2001 and cover-ups or the Patriot Act written months prior to 911 attacks?
GW was a goat and had not even a drop of well being–the puke killed over 1500000 Iraqies.I guess the well being would fit if he catered to Israel demands :^(

    1. we all cowtow to Israel’s demands.Ironically Israel is the Nazi state,in perfect disguise funded in no small part by the Union bank headed by Prescott Bush.I.G.Farben?I must remind myself that i’m not writin’ a book.

  3. I don’t think any amount of shilling for war from ex Presidents will help Uncle Sam change Uncle Vladimir’s mind about the future leadership of Syria. And while Russia and China remain friends of Iran the prospects of success for Washington’s warmongers are bleak.
