  1. thanks for posting this. I don’t have any Winchester .22, but I will pass it around. Hell, it is almost impossible to find any .22, imagine if your supply is recalled. Good luck replacing it. 🙁

  2. Ya mean that there is still 22 shells out there? The only 22 shells that I have seen or have heard people talk of is those bird shot ones, the 22 mags, or the 22 shorts. 🙁

  3. Im not sure I would trust this to be true, Is it another way to get more 22 off the shelfs at home? or out of the stores

Sorry I just don’t trust anyone anymore , gee I wonder why

Very easy to determine a double powder charge, weigh them on a gr. scale , if one weighs out more weight than the majority then you have ONE with a double hit of powder..I wouldn’t send the entire box back for a few of them that might be double hits, But that’s me and Im a reloader and have the equipment to determine if there are any that have more then their share of powder just by weighing them..

    still don’t trust em

  4. Doesn’t surprise me. I just bought 500-64gr .224 cal Winchester Power Point bullets that had a 25% reject rate. Winchester ammo quality has fallen to third world levels with a price that equals government contract over charging.

    Thanks for the posting, NWO.

  5. They were hard to come by here for a while, and they jacked the price up pretty good, but they’ve made quite a comeback in the last few months.

Still, one can never have TOO much ammo, imo.

    1. #1,
get that .22 while you can. We still cant get it here. Bass Pro has it sometimes, but it is 70 miles away. Even Academy cant get it. They do have .223 and .308, but it is the high end stuff.
We have another gun show in a couple weeks, but they are selling ammo at crazy prices.
